Their third album, HEAVENLY was released on September 1, 1995. The first time their album entered the Oricon Chart (major label band) directly in third position. In this album there seems to be a change in the color of their music compared to the two previous albums (it can be said that their musicality is becoming more mature). As Tetsuya stated, they tried something different and new in their music.
The Heavenly ‘95 tour began on September 9, 1995, tickets for their show were sold out (full house) within 9 days of its distribution, even on the last day the tour sold out in just 28 minutes! On the 22nd of the same month was their first appearance on Music Station, a top-notch music show in Japan. Then on October 21 1995 the third single titled Natsu no Yuutsu was released. The song was used as the ending theme for the TBS Television program called "M-Navi".
On December 27th they held a concert at Nippon Budokan, a place that Japanese musicians craved to be able to perform there.
In early 1996, L'Arc ~ en ~ Ciel's first live video, Heavenly ~ films ~ was released with 2 photo albums, namely "Heavenly X'mas" and "Heavenly ~ films ~". In April they embarked on the Kiss Me Deadly ‘96 tour. At that time fans from the male circle were increasing, which at first they were more liked by girls. This of course further increases their confidence.
